THE REPLIKATOR EXPERIMENT
We often see graffiti on walls to print media but how often do we see graffiti in 3 dimension with the use of real life environments? With the creation and development of new technologies and graphic softwares are starting to emerge with the ability to lift art to the next level. I would like to take this opportunity to bring both of this worlds together - 3 Dimensional graffiti in real life environment for my Senior Year Project. My goal is to sculpt and develop my personal graffiti piece to and place it as a sculpture in real life environments across and outside of the University of Mount Union. I believe that the outcome of this artwork can be used as a form of inspiration or even a tool for education within the art community ranging from art students to graffiti artists to art enthusiasts.

PULSE ULTRA CLUB
Pulse Ultra Club, located in the bustling capital of Malaysia and is home to some of Kuala Lumpur’s top bands and celebrity DJs, this vibrant party hotspot features extensive signature cocktails and delectable nibbles all night long.
I had a great time working with this amazing club. My task was to plan and design the marketing materials from Facebook banners to billboards that will be put on the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur.

Cosmic Unity Music Festival is a 3 day world music festival that is held in Red Rocks Park Colorado that features artists from different music genres and countries.
The core design concept of this festival is based on 3 major aspects which is Mother Nature, the universe and of cause world music. I am sure u are puzzled on how I relate all those together to create this music festival. I came up with these 3 aspects while I was brainstorming for ideas, imagining myself sitting with scores of people in a world music festival. While I was doing that, questions starts to pop up such as what do I want to see, hear and experience there?
The answer for me was simple - I would want to be in a venue which is unique and beautiful both its scenery and surrounding which is close knitted with nature, why nature you ask? because world music and nature goes together naturally, it’s like when you enjoy world music not only will you enjoy its music but you enjoy it with the surrounding that you are in such as the sounds and scenery of the venue itself which is why I choose the Red Rocks Park in Colorado. During the night in Red Rocks, I do realize that the sky which happens to include the stars and the broad universe up above could relate to the wide variety genre of artists that will be playing in the event itself.
Based on all that I came up with 2 words which I think it’s both unique and creative for the festival which is Cosmic Unity, Cosmic which represent everything in the nature of the universe itself which can be the sky, Mother Nature, the sounds, music itself and of cause us humans. The word Unity unites and connects all those aspects above into one single event which the Cosmic Unity World Music Festival. I did have other ideas for the name for the festival such as Red Rocks Music festival or simply just Summer World Music Festival. I just felt that if I’d come up with a name which is something more unique and surreal it will draw both curiosity and interest in the general public mostly the ones who love to listen to World Music.
As for the elements in the design, I did utilize a lot of with geometry shapes that relates to the 3 aspects of the concept. All of the elements used in the identity has its own meaning. One such example is the red triangle that is seen in the poster. It represents the venue - Red Rocks Park. The distressed texture on the poster and on the triangle creates an organic look that compliments Red Rocks itself.
As for the colors I used natural colors of green which symbolizes nature and a unique dark shade of blue which symbolizes night and the universe.

HELVETICA SCIENCE SERIES
Munki's Helvetica Science is a series of experimental typography artwork which mainly concentrates on the font Helvetica with supporting vector/vexel visualizations. My personal goal for this series is to open up a new understanding and inspiration on the font Helvetica to the people around the world.
On August 2010, Helvetica Science Series #003 was awarded the Daily Deviation award from deviantart.com. ^pica-ae, gallery moderator for deviantart.com commented
"This is a very fine example of how you can present a font that is, among many things, called boring, in a creative and interesting way. The simple color scheme and use of textures and vectors makes this a wonderful piece of experimental typography."

RGB International Bhd describes itself as a ‘one-stop hub’ for supplying, manufacturing, refurbishing and servicing casino equipment, as well as amusement and electronic gaming machines. The company, based in Penang, Malaysia makes original gaming equipment under RGBGames branding; produces other famous gaming machine brands under license; and markets equipment on behalf of RGB International Bhd and its licensing partners.
During my 2 years working in RGB as a Multimedia Graphic Designer, my task was to produce high quality print artworks such as their annual catalogue to their video presentation which is showcased in the Global Gaming Asia show which is held yearly in Macau, China.

The concept behind this piece is the number 3 which symbolizes the number of awesome years DAC have been around and the number 26 which is the date the club is founded - November 26th 2007 and of cause in addition to that, I have use the warm colors of Autumn and my personal typography styling’s.
The design ended up at the top 8 placing out of a few hundred artworks that were submitted in the contest.

ANYTIME ANYWHERE NISSIN
Nissin Foods is a world-wide company that makes instant ramen noodles. It was established in Japan on September 4, 1948 by Momofuku Ando as Nissin Food Products Co., Ltd. of Japan and ten years later introduced the first instant ramen noodle product, Chikin Ramen.
I was tasked during Advertising class in the University of Mount Union to come out with a promotional video accompanied with posters to promote the Nissin Cup Noodles. My goal is to promote the Nissin Cup Noodles in college environments where students could eat them in different places, situations and scenarios.
